LOST + FOUND: The Friendship Bracelet

Description

This white, fishtail braided, friendship bracelet has the initials JAB wriiten inside. You cannot see the initials without adjustment.

There are no charms or beads attached to it.

Design Process

Using 2D Primitive shapes, I tried to draw this lost item. The texture did not turn out like my initial sketch.

Reflection

Depicting a braided texture proved difficult, so I tried simplifying it in a hopefully legible way.

The bracelet floats here, in limbo, as it is lost and currently only a digital item made up of pixels.

I do not know the significance of the item or whose intitials are written on the bracelet, but in knowing that the item was lost and not given/thrown away, I wonder where it is now. Edit: signed by a musician (and then lost)!!

Perhaps it is in a box or pouch, safely kept, and waiting.
